As for that hinge – which, let’s face it, is what you’re really excited about – you can expect a lifetime of 200,000 flips, that’s roughly 100 flips a day (the average person checks their phones 58 times a day, as the Guardian noted last year).

As of 25 September, customers can buy the Razr 5G from select retailers, but availability is limited.

We’re keeping tabs on all the retailers that will be offering the new handset as they’re announced, along with where to grab an incredible Lenovo bundle worth £329.99 which includes the Lenovo Tab M10 HD and Lenovo Yoga ANC headphones.

How much does the Motorola Razr 5G cost?

The Razr 5G will cost £1,399, and while that’s a staggering amount, it’s still £100 less than the original Razr.

While it doesn’t look significantly different from its predecessor, the 5G model is lighter and more compact. The exterior features a polished 3D glass and 7000 series aluminium, while under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 765G processor, 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, and a 2800mAh battery.

O2 and Vodafone are the only networks that have the Razr 5G in stock. O2’s offer is much more affordable than Vodafone’s, however, though that comes at the price of a smaller data allowance at 15GB. You do get a free side helping of Disney+ or other streaming service, adding further value to the offer.
