We’ve rounded up a selection of cases that you can purchase from manufacturers that we trust. Since the Z flip has just been released, we haven’t tested these cases yet, but we’ll be getting samples over the next few weeks to check the quality.

At the moment, there isn’t a lot of choice as manufacturers likely haven’t had time to pre-prepare for the unique dimensions and design of the Galaxy Z Flip. Everything we’ve listed is what’s available at the moment from trusted brands, and we’ll keep a close eye on the market and update this piece as and when.

If you’re looking for cases for other new Samsung phones, we have roundups for the S20/S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra. You can also take a look at the best deals available right now for the Z Flip.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Leather Cover

Go official with Samsung’s dedicated leather case. Made from soft calf leather, this case has a luxury feel, and a design fitted to mold the Z Flip’s unique design without adding any extra unnecessary bulk.

The high-end feel does come at a premium price – namely £69.99/US$79.99 – for both the black and silver variants. You can buy it from either Samsung UK or Samsung US.

Case-Mate Tough Case

Case-Mate are another brand that are great for durability, and this tough case is no exception. With 10-foot drop protection, wireless charging, flexible sides for enhanced grip and a lifetime warranty to keep your mind at ease.

This case is available for £36.00/US$40.00 – making it the cheapest option on this list so far. You can buy it on the Case-Mate website.

Otterbox Symmetry Series Flex Case

Otterbox has a case that doesn’t detract from the Z Flip colour – something that fans of the purple version will be pleased to hear. Made from synthetic rubber and polycarbonate materials, this clear case with a black outer rim is designed to protect the Z Flip against drops and scrapes.

Currently this case is only available for pre-order in the US for US$79.95 – you can get it on the Otterbox website.
