Originally, Secretlab made the OMEGA series as a way to accommodate smaller customers and, but with the 2022 TITAN Evo launch, there’s no longer a need for this series. As the 2022 TITAN Evo now comes in Small, Regular, and X-Large options, making it the flagship product and currently the only one in production.

1. Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Series Gaming Chair

In 2022, Secretlab relaunched the TITAN series with the Evo models. This simplified the Secretlab gaming chair buying process, as it now allowed the TITAN series to accommodate not only a wide variety of different materials but also with the availability to now come in three different sizes (with a very rare extra, extra small size). Taking into account even further adjustments for ergonomics during long gaming sessions and busy work hours, there’s a reason why Secretlab has made the TITAN Evo 2022 series the flagship of the company.

Beyond the wide range of options, the TITAN Evo 2022 series also contains the largest number of color options. Ranging from simple single colors such as Frost Blue or Plush Pink to their collaboration products from games such as League of Legends, Valorant, and Fortnite. Though these collabs will only come in specific materials and are limited in nature. So if you’ve been waiting for an Overwatch 2 Genji Secretlab gaming chair or Star Wars collection, strike while the irons hot.

Comfortableness-wise, Secretlab launched the 2022 TITAN Evo with your back and posterior in mind. Combining their 4-way L-ADAPT™ lumbar support system for back health with their COLD-CURE foam mix for the bottom. While these actions do help alleviate some of the pressure and stress on the body of sitting for long periods of time, always try to stand up and walk around every hour.

The adjustment ability of a TITAN Evo 2022 falls under your typical gaming chair range, with the option to adjust to the height of the seat as well as the angle of the back. Beyond your typical lean back in your chair a little after a huge clutch, the new 2022 version of the TITAN allows you to lean back as far as 165° to fully relax after a long night of gaming. Just try not to fall asleep, which may be hard, as their chair also comes with a magnetic memory foam head pillow. That’s right, no more straps that require five minutes’ worth of fiddling to adjust to how you like it. Simply slide it up or down and relax.

2. Secretlab OMEGA 2020 Series Gaming Chair

While Secretlab no longer has the OMEGA 2020 series in production, you can still easily find one of these on their websites, though with limited color options and materials available. Because it’s on the way out, it’s the perfect time to pick up a Secretlab gaming chair for a more budget-friendly option compared to the TITAN Evo 2022 or even TITAN 2020 series.

Originally meant for those with smaller builds, the OMEGA series was meant to accommodate those with a height <5'11" and fell under 240 lbs. But with the launch of the TITAN Evo 2022 series, which now came in three options, there was no need to make a separate line strictly for smaller gamers. So if you don’t fall within those specific recommendations, there’s a good chance you may not find this specific Secretlab chair comfortable.

The OMEGA series still comes with the 165° backrest, but you’ll be using a strapped lumbar pillow rather than the built-in lumbar support. The armrests are not replaceable, and the head pillow is a strapped version as well. But, the cold-cure foam does come with the gaming chair, so there isn’t much of a difference in sitting quality.

A big plus to the OMEGA series that the TITAN Evo 2022 had to forgo in the “merge” was the more enclosed seat base. The snug-fit seat base made for a comfortable yet cozy sitting and gaming experience while playing everything from . Especially for those who enjoy lying back and relaxing on their chair while concentrating during a match.

At the time of writing, there are only around 19 versions left of the OMEGA series Secretlab PRIME™ 2.0 PU Leather on the Secretlab website. The ones available all fall under a collaboration such as their World of Warcraft collection and there are no single colors available. While you may think it’s better to buy secondhand, you would have to forgo the 5-year warranty that comes with all new Secretlab gaming chair purchases. Which may end up saving more money in the long run.

3. Secretlab TITAN 2020 Series Gaming Chair

Best Sitting Experience Secretlab Gaming Chair

While the TITAN 2020 Series Gaming Chair has also received the discontinuation notice, there’s still a specific set of people that will enjoy it over the previous two. Those people are those who love to sit cross-legged or their legs up on the chair in some fashion. This comes from the leveled seat base, which the TITAN 2022 Evo series chose to forgo during the merge.

There are major differences between the OMEGA and TITAN 2020 series, such as the fact that the TITAN 2020 has a recommended height range from 5'9" to 6'7" and a weight recommendation of keeping it under 290 lbs. This opens up the range for those who are on the taller side that wouldn’t enjoy the compact design of the OMEGA.

The TITAN 2020 still comes with a strapped memory foam head pillow and a non-replaceable 4D armrest. But unlike the OMEGA, there’s the benefit of a 2-way adjustable lumbar support, making it slightly better for long-term usage. The only caveat though is the fact that the TITAN 2020 series tends to have a deeper initial backrest angle, making it less likely to support the back without properly adjusting it to your own individual body.

Currently, there are limited options for the SoftWeave™ Fabric, PRIME™ 2.0 PU Leather, NAPA Leather available on the Secretlab website. The TITAN 2020 series does come in at a slightly lower price point than the TITAN Evo 2022 series, but it’s not by much.
